About Sound Archive ASMR

Sound Archive ASMR is a growing collection of sounds, words, keyboards, and quiet moments. The project began with a simple idea: there is something strangely satisfying about the sound of typing. Different keyboards have their own character — some click, some clack, some sound deep and muted, and some have a sound that is difficult to describe until you hear it. From there, the archive grew. Today, Sound Archive ASMR brings together typing sessions, mechanical keyboards, literature, Bible readings and studies, and other experiments built around sound and the simple act of typing. Some videos are made to be watched. Others work just as well in the background while you study, read, work, or relax. Some are about the words being typed; others are almost entirely about the keyboard and its sound. This website is the home of that archive. Here you can browse videos, explore series and collections, discover the keyboards used in different recordings, and follow connections between the sounds, texts, and projects that make up Sound Archive ASMR. The archive includes content in both English and Spanish and will continue to grow as new recordings, keyboards, texts, and ideas are added. Put on your headphones, explore the archive, and find the sounds you enjoy.
